The anti-corruption culture was explained to the youth
The lecture aimed at reducing corruption levels and improving the work of the compliance service was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event was attended by: the Head of the Prevention Department of the Anti-Corruption Department for Almaty, the university's leadership; faculty members; and students. They noted that: "The goal of today's event is to foster an anti-corruption culture among the youth.
'Knowledge given without education is the worst enemy of humanity', said Al-Farabi, promoting essential values to the younger generation such as honesty, integrity, and justice". The representative of the agency also provided students with a detailed overview of international experience in combating and preventing corruption, explaining the high level of bribery in modern society. During the lecture, which took the form of an interactive discussion, students shared their suggestions for promoting a culture of transparency, honesty, and justice in universities. In conclusion, the participants were encouraged to take an active role in the fight against corruption and to adhere to the principles of honesty and justice in society. The organizers expressed confidence that such events will continue on a regular basis, and that youth involvement will grow in the future. This initiative will not only raise the legal awareness of students but also enable them to unite for the sake of justice
